At Curtis Lane Equipment we always strive to provide the best possible service in the industry. All service technicians are currently enrolled in a continuous training program through Melroe Company, the manufacturer of Bobcat products, called Front Line Focus. This program allows us to stay up to date on the latest changes and updates to current machines, as well as retrofits and modifications to older machines that may now be obsolete. We also send technicians to factory schools, taught by Melroe engineers, on a regular basis. To help our newer employees get up to speed faster, we take advantage of Melroe’s correspondence courses.

Routine service and maintenance of your Bobcat, BigDog Mower, Bush Hog, RedMax or Roxor machines through an authorized dealer allows you to have an accurate service record and history of any updates which helps keep your resale value closer to the top of the spectrum when the time comes to trade or sell. We offer several programs to help you keep your equipment in pristine running condition including:

Periodically we offer clinics for new machine owners to come visit the dealership for an evening of fun, food and education. These clinics enable you to meet other new owners with similar jobsite conditions. The primary purpose of these clinics is to enlighten new owners on the ins and outs of equipment service, to point out points that require special attention, explain optional features and review our rental policies for attachment rentals.

A long-running machine starts with proper planned maintenance. It helps protect against repair costs and unplanned failures when you count on your machine to work. We offer programs that take care of all your regularly scheduled maintenance in the field or in our shop. It’s available for all machines, including loaders, excavators, Toolcat™ utility work machines, telehandlers and utility vehicles. Relying on trained service technicians and genuine parts, Bobcat Preventative Maintenance allows you to schedule maintenance when your machine isn’t being used – not when it needs quick maintenance in the middle of your busy season.

Included with the purchase of your new machine, we offer a FREE 50 hour first service appointment to ensure your equipment is working up to our standards, and yours, in the first few months of ownership. Applying the standards of the BobCheck Multi-point Inspection. This service will be conducted by a Bobcat-certified service technician at your selling Bobcat dealer. Included will be a visual, operational, engine and safety inspection as well as performance of general maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

We offer you an in depth inspection free of charge every time we service your machine for any reason in our shop or in the field. This information is intended to keep you ahead of problems before they become serious. It can also serve as a valuable tool to help us in determining fair trade values when the time comes to upgrade.

Whether just down the street or 80 miles away, when your machine is down, you’re loosing money. Our trained staff of field service technicians will get you up and running again in a hurry. We’re there for you when you need us. Our field service trucks are equipped with specialized tools and overhead cranes to tackle those jobs you wouldn’t dare attempt on your own.
